Over recent weeks ARD has undergone some significant changes to its ongoing structure and developments. We’re pleased to advise you of a number of new initiatives:
As from Monday 21st July we are no longer acting as Official Dealer agents for Proton, Isuzu and SsangYong. From our recent sales research and comments received from customers old and new, we feel that we can offer a better sales service and greater vehicle choice without incurring the costly overheads and limitations of ‘Official Dealer’ status. This personalized service will be called ARD SELECT and is available to all our clients.
ARD select
ARD select will give you the opportunity to sit down and discuss with us the problems you may be having and what you feel you really need in your next vehicle, we will then suggest appropriate options for you to choose from and then supply the vehicle, new or used, directly to your door or business premises at the very best price possible.
Importantly we will then provide you with the excellent service and maintenance support standards for which ARD’s reputation is based.
Aftersales
Moving to the aftersales side of the business, there are not too many changes here, our outstanding award winning service and maintenance facilities will remain, albeit with a few further technical enhancements to the workshop. Our commitment to servicing all vehicle types including Land Rovers and other makes of 4x4’s that have been purchased from us over the last few years will continue.
In a nutshell we are further enhancing the ARD workshop side of the business, where we can still save our clients up to 40% over other ‘main dealer’ charges while still supplying the exacting service and customer care standards for which the ARD business was built on.
ARD Maintenance Plan
A new service we will be offering will include the facility to spread the cost of servicing your car with our ARD Maintenance Plan; this is particularly useful to those families or businesses that have two or several cars.
ARDVehicle Hire
Away from Sales and Servicing, ARD Car & Van Hire has diversified its fleet to give our customers the best selection of hire vehicles available locally.
Howden Sign Design
Also remaining on site is Howden Sign Design, our sign and large format display business.
Howden Sign Design is developing its own excellent reputation for great value and quick turnaround of high quality digitally printed signage and display material, from safety signs to shop fronts and vehicle graphics.

What you say about ARD...
We (Craig and myself) seem to have had a spell of vehicle breakdowns over the past few weeks and this is just a note of appreciation to you and your colleagues for dealing with us when we, without any planning, ring up with a problem and you and your staff do your best to help out in a good professional way.
We drive our vehicles with one ear listening for the odd sound which may lead to a vehicle repair, but I would always encourage my staff to at least think 'if in doubt ask'...if they don't the vehicle problem could lead to a danger, possibly more than what they bargained for!
