Russell, of Howden, East Yorkshire formed ARD – then specialists in Land Rovers - back in 1999 after serving as Dealer Principal at a Land Rover franchise in Pickering for 9 years. Russell has been in the automotive trade for over 25 years and believed strongly that he could offer a more tailored, customer friendly solution to all things Land Rover as an independent dealer.
Since then ARD has grown rapidly, has expanded its premises, become one of the UK's fastest growing SsangYong franchised Dealerships, opened a new service centre site, invested in the very latest technology and employs an equally focused and customer committed team, of whom many of which have been with ARD since the very beginning…..but Russell’s love of 4x4s and superior customer service mean that even as Managing Director, he can often be found working in all ARD departments (apart from the kitchen)!
